Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Rogers of South El Monte, California, sons, Ronnie Rogers of South El Monte, California, Mathew Rogers of Alhambra, California, Jon Rogers of Huntington Beach, California, Jimmie Rogers Jr. of Buena Park, California, Lester Rogers of Ontario, California, Maury Rogers of City of Industry, California, sister, Linda Rogers of Albany, Oregon and step-mother Virginia Rogers of Albany, Oregon, brother, Steve Rogers of Albany, Oregon, five Grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Jimmie was a member of American Legion Post 272 of Montebello and a former President of the L.A. County Baseball Assn.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California.
