Jimmy Garcia, 57, a long time resident of Southern California was born on July 25, 1950 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on February 10, 2008 in Montebello, California.
For over 57 years, Jimmy was a self employed truck driver and mechanic with J. Garcia Trucking in Pico Rivera. He was also a faithful parishioner of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church and was a beloved father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Jimmy is survived by his loving family, daughters, Linda Garcia of Hacienda Heights, California, Mary Hell Garcia of Phoenix, Arizona, Rosie Garcia of Whittier, California, sons, Jimmy Garcia Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, Mark Garcia of Phoenix, Arizona, Nick Garcia of Phoenix, Arizona, Timothy Garcia of Pico Rivera, California, sisters, Trinie Andrade, Margie Nunez, Elizabeth Garcia, Virginia Garcia, brothers, Tommy Garcia and Lloyd Garcia. He is preceded in death by his brothers Billy Garcia and Maurice Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Risher Mortuary Chapel.
Vigil will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Risher Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 9:00 am at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Pico Rivera, California, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery, Montebello, California.
