John M. Barbosa was born on January 24, 1954 in Texas and entered into eternal rest November 16,2011 in Los Angeles California.
Our father was a devote man of faith. He not only believed in salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ, but he lived it. He faithfully attended a men's accountability group for 20 years, where he prayed for his children, his grandchildren and many others.
We are very saddened by the loss of our father at such an early age. Our father was a loving, caring and praying man of God, who lived humbly, never asking for much, but always willing to give all he had.
He was passionate about his music and loved to play in his band, Hooked On Ice, performing with his nephew Anthony and friend Joe.
He will be forever missed by all who had the privilege to meet him. He will live on in our hearts and memories.
He is survived by his four children and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will be be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 5-9:00pm at Risher Montebello Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Decemember 5, 2011 at 11:00am Calvary Chapel 931 S. Maple Ave.,Montebello, CA 90640 Interment will be Rose Hill Memorial Park 3888 S. Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601.
