John is survived by his loving wife, Hazel Berekoff of Downey, daughters, Barbara Slevcove of Laguna Beach, Tanya Volkoff of Laguna Niguel, Manya Bebieff of Carlsbad, son, Jim Berekoff of Kerman, brother, Harry Bekeroff, sister, Sarah Metchkoff, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Immediate family gathering will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the Dressing Prayer beginning at 3:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, from the Russian New Romanofsky Church, 14647 Broadway, Whittier, California, with services starting at 1:00 pm at Russian Molokan Cemetery in Commerce, California.
