Jose Hooker, 89, a long time resident of Southern, California, was born in Nicaragua on September 12, 1917 and passed away in Montebello, California on May 15, 2007.
Jose is survived by his loving wife, Pastoria Hooker, 7 seven sons, James Hooker of Whittier, California, Jose Antonio Hooker of Whittier, California, Wilbur Hooker of Montebello, California, Kenneth Hooker of Oakland, California, Leslie Hooker of Santa Ana, California, Lee Hooker of Montebello, California, Bruce Allen Hooker of Naples, Italy, four daughters, Guadalupe Barker of West Covina, California, Maybell Hall of Denver, Colorado, Mildred Urbina of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Marjorie Santos of Montebello, California, a brother, twenty-one grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Risher Mortuary Chapel.
Vigil will be held on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Risher Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Montebello, California, with Interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California.
