Jose (Jo-Jo) Luis Torrez, 26, was born on October 18, 1986 in Bell Flower, Ca., and entered eternal rest on November 13, 2012 in Pico Rivera, Ca. Jose was a forklift operator for six months.
A Visitation Service will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, with a Prayer Service is beginning at 10:00 am at our Risher Chapel.
Jose is survived by his loving family; sister Roxieanna Torrez, brother Mario Torrez, son Joseph, Grandparents: Charles and Rachel Torrez, Godparents Robert and Vickey Torrez, Stepfather Guadalupe Vargas. He is also survived by the rest of the Torrez family.
Jose was greeted at heaven's gate by his loving parents Delmo and Rosalinda who preceeded him in death.
Jo-Jo is also survived by his loving extended family, brother Anthony Parra, his "Pops" Robert Parra, sister Pita Parra, Auntie Courtney Delahoussaye, and his "Mommas" Kathy Kilgore and Mary Parra.
Family and friends will be hosting the following fundraisers:
Friday, November 23, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, "Cruise Night" at Bob's Big Boy Restaurant, 7447 Firestone Blvd., Downey, Ca. 90241; and a car wash on Saturday November 24, 2012 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at Falcone's Pizza, 9247 Slauson Ave., Pico Rivera, Ca. 90660.
