Josie Andazola Madrid was born on November 19, 1935 in Silver City, New Mexico to Elodia and Fructoso Andazola and passed away on June 7, 2016 at her residence in Hacienda Heights. She was 80 years old. Josie was an elementary school teacher for 46 years and worked for the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District.
Josie is survived by her daughters, Jeannie (Kiki) Garcia of Hacienda Hts. and Maxine Madrid of Rancho Cucamonga and her grandchildren; Teresa and Cristina Alvarado, both of Rancho Cucamonga, Natasha Madrid of San Diego, and Maximiliano and Julia Garcia, both of Hacienda Hts. She also leaves her brothers Manuel Andazola (Petra) of New Mexico and Reyes Andazola of La Mirada, numerous nieces and nephews and her daughter-in-law, Emily Madrid. Josie was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Maximiliano M. Madrid, who together they were married 42 years, her son, Joseph D. Madrid and her brother, Miguel Andazola who preceded her in death.
