Jovita Gutierrez Aguirre, 81, was born in Los Angeles, Ca. on February 6, 1932 and passed away at her home in Pico Rivera, Ca. surrounded by her loving family on February 4, 2014. Mrs. Aguirre was a homemaker for her entire life, making a loving and comfortable home for her husband and children.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 5:00-9:00 pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel and Reception Center. A Catholic Vigil will be held at 7:00 pm also in the Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Alphonsus Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Jovita is survived by her children, Laura (Oscar) Dian of Los Angeles, Sally Juarez of Los Angeles, Salvador (Lorraine) Aguirre of Los Angeles, Yolanda (John) Rey of Los Angeles, Peter (Maria) Aguirre of Chino Hills, Francis Aguirre of Los Angeles, Rudy (Debbie) Aguirre of Los Angeles and Richard Aguirre of Los Angeles. She also leaves 20 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren and her sister, Belen Gutierrez of Los Angeles and her brother, Gabriel Gutierrez of San Bernardino County.
