Karen is survived by her loving family, mother Katherine Afonin sisters; Kathleen Dewing, Robin Tolmasoff, Jerlyn Afonin and brother Nicholas Afonin.
Immediate family gathering will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Risher Montebello Chapel with the Dressing Prayer beginning at 4:00pm.
Funeral service will be at 10:00am on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Russian Molokan Cemetery in Commerce directly from Risher Chapel.
