Kasar is survived by his loving wife, Susan Saatchian of Montebello, son, Aram Saatchian of Whittier and sister, Olga Saatchian of Suchumi, Russia.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2009, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California.
Funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Cathedral in Montebello, California, with interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Cathedral, 900 West Lincoln Ave., Montebello, California 90640 ' (323) 727-1113.
