Kathleen Marie Blake

Kathleen Marie Blake was the first-born to William and Avis Blake. She was born in Berwyn, Illinois on July 9, 1952. Her younger brother, William was born two years later. The Blake's moved to Southern California in 1958. Kathleen started her work career at 18 and spent the next 20 years working for Pacific Bell and AT&T. During those years Kathleen's job took her to a few spots in Northern California and as far away as New Jersey. This was the beginning of Kathleen's life-long love of travel. She then took a job
back in Southern California in the HR department of BWIP in Long Beach. Kathleen quit that job years later to live abroad. She lived in a quaint village in the Polish countryside for almost 15 years. Kathleen
traveled extensively while living in Poland. Being so close to some of Europe's most beautiful spots was a dream-come-true for Kathleen. Her travels took her around the world, from the Baltic Sea to African
safaris and countless places in-between. Kathleen moved back to America in 2012 and resided in La Quinta, California until her death. Kathleen is survived by a brother, William Blake and a sister, Cherie Blake as well as a nephew, Scott Blake, niece, Anna Mack and great-niece, Charlie Mack and greatnephew, Owen Mack.
