Kerry Ann Murphy Profile Photo
Kerry Ann Murphy, a lover of life, devoted to family and friends as well as music, history and travel. Kerry passed on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 after a long fight with cancer in Downey, California.

Born into a family where she would be fortunate to be the oldest of six, Kerry began her education at St. Gerard and finished high school at Charlie Russell High. She attended Montana Tech for business in 1974 and moved to Boston in 1979. Two years later, Kerry moved to London where she lived until 1986. Kerry faced many challenges throughout her life, however she was the most optimistic and positive person to have ever graced our presence. She loved to read and was an incredible storyteller who could captivate any audience large or small. Kerry moved to Los Angeles where she could enjoy the sunshine year round. Kerry loved traveling any chance she had; some of her favorite places included Lourdes, France and Sun Valley, Idaho as well as visiting her old homes of Hyannis Port, Massachusetts and London, England.

With an excellent memory and sense of humor she brightened any room she was in. She is in our hearts and her spirit is present in all things yellow, Paul McCartney, The Beatles as well as JFK and his family’s legacy.

A special ‘Thank you!’ goes out to all who were involved in providing care for her during the last four years. She deeply appreciated all of the care and support from these caregivers and for the many family and friends who visited during this time.
