Kimberly Ann Miller-Roski, 60, was born January 31, 1964, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William Derda Miller and Patricia Francis Miller. Kimberly entered eternal rest on August 19, 2024, in Duarte, California.

Kim was a cherished member of the St. Jude family for over 24 years. Throughout her tenure, she demonstrated exceptional skill and compassion in her roles. Initially serving in the ICU, Kim devoted herself to caring for heart patients before transitioning into an educator role. Taking a brief pause to focus on her family as her daughter Marina grew up, she later returned with renewed vigor to specialize in outpatient Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation for the last 17 years.

Kim's approach to patient care was deeply personal. She made each patient feel loved, heard, and seen, always taking the extra time to connect and address their concerns or questions. Her dedication extended beyond her patients, particularly resonating with veterans following her daughter Marina's decision to join the Navy—a reflection of her pride and connection to those who served.

For new team members, Kim was a nurturing mentor, always ready to share her knowledge and experience. Her attributes were numerous—kindness, compassion, patience, humor—and she always reached out to assist her colleagues, even as an on-call nurse who frequently picked up extra shifts.

Kim was instrumental in the growth and success of our department, meeting challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit. Her contributions have played a crucial part in our achievements, enhancing patient outcomes and elevating our program performance. We owe a great deal of our success to Kim's unwavering dedication, setting a commendable standard for both our patients and the broader healthcare community. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us in our mission.

Beyond her impressive career, Kim was deeply enamored with the great outdoors. She found joy in backpacking and hiking through the Eastern Sierra's, quad-riding across the desert, scuba diving in serene waters, and cruising along the Colorado River.

Her love of travel took her to many corners of the world, including Japan, Germany, Scotland, and the US Virgin Islands. It was on the Island of Martinique, during one of her many adventures, that she met her beloved husband. Kim’s journeys also led her to the shores of Punta Cana and various other destinations, each adding a unique chapter to her life story.

Kimberly is survived by her loving family: Husband, Michael Lee Roski of Diamond Bar, Daughter, Marina Rae Roski of Diamond Bar, Sister, Kelly Harbert(Robert) of Louisville, Ohio, and Mother, Patricia Miller of Louisville, Ohio. Family and friends will miss her dearly.

Kimberly was reunited at the Gates of Heaven by her Father, William Miller.
