Lauro Montes, 94, was born on August 17, 1926 in Los Angeles, California to Fernando Montes and Paula Camacho, and entered into eternal rest on May 11, 2021 in Montebello, California.
Lauro proudly served in United States Navy during World War II and earned an honorable discharge for his honorable and faithful service to our nation. Lauro was also sworn in with the Los Angeles Police Department and dedicated over 30 years of service to the city of Los Angeles.
Lauro is survived by his loving family: Children, Lorette Villa, Larinda Garcia, Lauro Montes Jr., Lorraine Kleeman, and Laura Velarde, along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Lauro was greeted at the gates of Heaven by his loving wife who preceded him in death.
