Lilly Maxson was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on April 10, 1910 to Nunsion and Theresa Panepinto. She grew up in New Orleans with siblings: Mary, Laura, Joe and Frances. Lilly married Russell Maxson in Los Angeles, California. She enjoyed coooking, gardening and was an artist with needle and thread.
Lilly passed away on September 22, 2011 in Clarinda, Iowa. She is proceded in death by her parents; husband Russell; siblings Mary, Laura, and Joe; daughter Janet Bahn and son-in-law Dale Bahn.
Surviving are her grandchildren: Dave Bahn and wife Connie of Villisca, Iowa, Peggy Rupp of Clarinda, Iowa, Russell Bahn and wife Trudy of Pulaski, Tennessee, Judy Bahn of Clarinda, Iowa and Pamela Dodson and husband Richard of Columbia, Tennessee; seven great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; sister Frances of Charlotte, North Carolina; cousins and friends.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 10:00am at Resurrection Cemetery 966 N. Potrero Grande Dr.,Montebello, Ca 90640.
