Linda Louise Lucier

Linda Louise Lucier was born on October 29, 1947, in Inglewood, California to Guy and Genevieve Scivally. Linda entered into her eternal rest on October 11, 2023, in Whitter, California.
At the age of 18, Linda met and married the love of her life Armand Wilford Lucier on June 24, 1966, in Los Angeles, California. Eventually, they gave birth to their beautiful daughters, Tracy and Bobbie. In 1972, Linda joined First Baptist Church of Downey where she served as a Sunday school teacher to 3 year olds for 23 years. During this time Linda was also blessed to be a stay-at-home mother to Tracy and Bobbie while also being a remote typist until their grade school years. After Tracy and Bobbie started grade school, Linda decided to enter the workforce and start her career in accounting. While in this career she worked for many companies like Reliable Industries, Filenet, and IBM for 25 years until early retirement due to her illnesses. For the last 23 years of Linda’s life, she enjoyed attending Calvary Chapel Downey. Linda loved sewing, gardening, and baking sweets. A highlight of her life was making extravagant birthday cakes for her daughters and grandchildren. Linda also enjoyed baking around the holidays and gifting the baked goods to family and friends to bring holiday cheer.
Linda is survived by her loving family: Daughters, Tracy Hurst (Ronald) and Bobbie Debro (Robert), Grandchildren, Brittany Debro (25), Hannah Hurst (24), Naomi Debro (22), Rebekah Hurst (21), and Joshua Hurst (19). Siblings, Marilyn Smith (Tim), Guy Scivally Jr., Bob Miller (Judy), Kenny Miller (Nelia), and Jim Miller (Darla), Sister-N-Law, Carol Miller, Fur Babies, Winter Debro and Luna Hurst, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Linda will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Linda was reunited at Heaven's gates with her loving husband of almost 57 years, Armand Lucier. Linda was also reunited with her parents, Guy and Genevieve Scivally, stepmother, Frances Scivally, siblings, Jackie Chestnut, Bill Scivally (Sandy), Phil Miller, and Patty Sumpter (Jim), and Fur Babies Oreo, and Gizmo.
