Linda Sarah Madewell, 75 was born January 29, 1942 in Los Angeles, California to Franklin Winters and Helen Burge and entered into rest December 9, 2017.
Linda was a legal secretary for over 35 years. She was a generous and caring individual and found friends everywhere she went and included them in her life with ease. Linda was interested in people, culture, sports and the arts. She studied eight languages, and she was both a piano student and instructor for much of her life. She filled the world around her with laughter and song and made everyone feel special and included. From day one she was daddy’s little girl and she held dear to the many interests of her father her entire life. Linda was always excited to watch a good ball game or take a scenic road trip. She looked at the world through rose colored glasses and always kept forgiveness in her heart.
Linda is survived by her sister Marlene Marin, daughter Emily Madewell-Coutant, granddaughter Delilah “Lily Helene” Coutant, son-in-law David Coutant, niece Debbie Gatchell, nephew Rob Marin, great niece Kristen Haining, great nephew Alan Haining, and constant companion and “fellow friend” Carl Renfro.
