As a World War II veteran in the Navy he faithfully served his country and traveled the world. To provide for his family he worked as a diesel mechanic for over forty years.
He was an amazing example of what later life could be to his family and friends at his local gym, and in his neighborhood for 60 years.
Lono was an avid sportsman, surfer, snowboarder, bike rider, runner, swimmer, and exerciser daily into his eighth decade.
A faithful believer and member of Annunciation Catholic Church for over 60 years.
