Lucio Sanabria Estrada

Lucio Sanabria Estrada was born on January 7, 1927 to Faustino and Elvira Estrada in Texas and entered into eternal rest on November 11, 2015 in Whittier, California. He was 88 years old. Lucio previously was employed as a construction foreman for over 25 years.
Dad loved gardening; his roses were his pride and joy, music made his heart sing. His favorite artists were Liberace and Andrea Bocelli. He never missed the Lawrence Welk show because Anacani just knocked his socks off. But then new loves came into his life, the grandchildren and the great grandchildren. He had lots of lessons to teach them, he wanted them to be good students, honest and hard working. He encouraged them, he went as far as training with one granddaughter running 5 miles a day to get her ready for soccer and the other granddaughter getting her to the pool by 5:00AM to practice swimming for her water polo team. He had no problem being in traffic for hours because he was going across town to take the grandson to buy a string for his guitar.
Mom will miss the man that stood by her side for 67 years, his children will miss picking up the phone to say hi daddy and his grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss his wisdom and lessons.
Lucio is survived by his loving wife Mary Adame Estrada of Montebello, son Alexander Estrada of Montebello, daughter Lucy (Ernest) Yanez of Diamond Bar and daughter Lilly (Dr. Gilbert) Placensia of Anaheim. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren; granddaughter Stephanie (Russell) Burken of Las Vegas, grandson Ernie (Melanie) Yanez of Jensen Beach, Florida, granddaughter Jennifer (Kent) Baecker of Chino, grandson Benito (Daphine) Estrada of Azusa, grandson Lucio (Evette) Estrada of Montebello, granddaughter Christina Estrada of Montebello and 7 great grandchildren.
