Mabel Bernice Heller

Mabel Bernice Heller, 97 was born November 16, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois and entered into rest July, 9, 2017 in Irvine, California. She was greeted at heaven's gate by her beloved husband of 29 years Charles V. Heller and Granddaughter Sherry L. Belcher.
With a compassionate heart for helping others Mabel was a Nurses' Aid for over 20 years.
A tireless church volunteer, Mabel collected stuffed animals for disadvantaged children and assisted in food drives for the local food bank. Her service didn't end there. She was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the La Mirada Veterans of Foreign Wars and often participated as a flag bearer in Memorial day observances. Her community mindedness extended to serving as a poll worker during local and national elections.
Mabel is survived by her loving family; Son, Don Heller of La Mirada, California, Daughter, Kathleen A. Heller of La Mirada, California, Daughter-In-Law, Darlene of Ontario, California, Grandson, Matthew Heller of Ontario, California, Great-Granddaughter, Azure Everett of Gilbert, Arizona and numerous Nieces & Nephews.
