Marcelino Ortiz was born to Juanita and Joe Ortiz on July 17, 1924 in Los Angeles, California and entered into eternal rest on July 2, 2016 in Los Angeles, California. He was 91 years old. Marcelino was a proud United States Army Veteran and was given an honorable discharge. More recently, he worked as a welder for over 35 years.
Marcelino is survived by his three children; son Michael (Carmen) Ortiz of Lake Elsinor, CA, son David (Donna) Ortiz of Sacramento, CA and daughter Juanita Abdo of Woodbridge, VA. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren as well as his brother Savino Ortiz of Santa Fe Springs and numerous nieces and nephews.
