Margaret F. Holmes

Margaret Fern Holmes, 89, was a long time resident of Southern, California, she was born in Nebraska on August 10, 1918 and passed away in Mission Viejo, California on October 4, 2007.
For the last forty years Margaret and her husband, Bill, have resided in San Juan Capistrano, California coming from the Downey community where they raised their family for nearly thirty years. Margaret was the past president of the San Juan Hills Women's Golf Club and an avid golfer with a few tournament championships as a true testament for her love of the sport. Besides golf she enjoyed taking part in many social activities and especially services that helped other people. She was a devoted wife for sixty-six years and a loving grandmother of her two grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, William 'Bill' Holmes, son, Michael Holmes and sister, Leona Brandan.
Interment will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park and services will be private.
