MARIA ISABEL GARCIA

Maria Isabel Garcia, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 64 in Los Angeles, California. Born on August 31, 1960, in Mexico, Maria brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life.

Maria was known for her unwavering love for her family, which was the cornerstone of her existence. She delighted in being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will remain in their hearts forever. Her passion for cooking was well celebrated, as she often prepared meals that brought her family together, nurturing not just their bodies but also their spirits.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Fabian Garcia, and their four children: Alicia Serdio of Los Angeles, CA; Rigoberto Garcia of Golden Valley, AZ; Olga Cudiamat of Walnut, CA; and Gerardo Garcia of Moreno Valley, CA. The legacy of Maria’s love continues through her grandchildren: Brandon Serdio, Ian Serdio, Magdalena Garcia, David Cudiamat, Leo Garcia, and Serphina Garcia, all of whom will undoubtedly carry forward the values and warmth she instilled in them.

A visitation to honor Maria will be held at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service, located at 1316 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640, on April 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A Mass will follow the visitation at the same location, commencing at 1:00 PM.

Maria Isabel Garcia's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends, who were fortunate to know her and share in the love she generously offered. She will be deeply missed and truly remembered.
