Maria Ochoa Herrera

Maria Ochoa Herrera, 94, was born in Mexico on May 27, 1918 and passed away in Montebello, Ca. on March 2, 2013. Maria loved to cook, especially Enchiladas Mexicanos made with her own cheese. She owned and worked her own ranch, where she rode horses to cover the large area. She raised chickens, pigs, cows and goats. Maria also loved ranchera music and enjoying singing.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 4:00-9:00pm in the Risher Mortuary Chapel & Reception Center, with a Catholic vigil at 6:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 9:30am at St. Benedict Church in Montebello, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery.
Maria is survived by her sons, Amador Valdovinos of Mexico City & Narciso Valdovinos of San Bernardino, her daughter, Soldedad Valdovinos of Montebello, her sons, Emilio Valdovinos of Rosarito, Baja Ca. and Gustavo Valdovinos of San Diego. She also leaves 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
