Marina Elaine Armendariz

Marina Elaine Armendariz, 57, was born on December 15, 1963 in Colorado to Steven Tony Armendariz and Margaret Marina Romero, and entered into eternal rest on July 4, 2021 in Baldwin Park, California.
Marina served proudly in the United States Army and was given an honorable discharge for her honorable and faithful service to our great nation.
Marina also dedicated over 18 years of hard work while employed as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.
In 2015, Marina attended the 8th annual California State Assembly Veteran of the Year event that was held on the week of June 24th at the Sacramento Convention Center. That year, Marina was named the 2015 Veteran of the Year for the 49th Assembly District by Assemblyman Ed Chau.
Marina is survived by her loving family: Husband, Robert Diaz, Children, Roberto Diaz and his fiancee Taylor, Dillon Diaz, Siblings, Florence "Ogee" Markley and her husband Lee, Stephanie Wrich and her husband Jim, David Armendariz, Siblings in Law, Cindy Weymans, Leonard Diaz, along with other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Marina was preceded in death by her Parents, Steven and Margaret Armendariz, Sister, Josephine Wilbert, Niece, Melissa Chavez, and Nephew, Marcus David Wrich.
