Sergeant Mark Anthony Calderon was born on April 24, 1995 in Fresno, California and entered into Heaven on May 18, 2021 while serving his country in the United States Army.
Mark attended Miles Elementary school, Gage Middle School, and Huntington Park High School in the city of Huntington Park, Ca.
Mark played Lacrosse and was part of woodshop program where he loved carving many things for family like cutting boards. He is Class 2014 and he attended LA Trade Tech and was part of Habit to Humanity, where on weekends he would go volunteer and build homes.
He loved music and movies, he was like an old soul because he loved oldies and classic movies. He enjoyed hearing his favorite bands like The Beatles, The Beach boys, Led Zepplin, The Rolling Stones, etc.
Mark loved his family, he loved spending time with his Nieces, Katie and Audrey, and Michael; he loved spending time with siblings, cousins, and other family when he visited home. He loved his mom's homemade food over any other kind of food.
Mark joined the United State Army in 2015. He attended the engineering school and became a Cobat Engineer. He deployed to Korea and had re-enlisted to deploy to Poland. He was full of life and love, everyone who met him has many beautiful memories of him. Mark will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving mother, Maria Elena Sanchez of Huntington Park, his brother, Luis Calderon of Huntington Park, brother, Mike Calderon of Huntington Park, sister, Justine Nicole Calderon of Huntington Park, and his brother, Manuel Jesus Avendano (Yasmin) of Rialto. He also leaves his grandfather, Celso Sanchez of Huntington Park, his nephew, Michael Calderon and nieces, Kaithlyn Nicole Calderon and Audrey Calderon, all of Huntington Park.
