Mark Jay Spivey was born on August 5, 1964 in California and passed away on August 28, 2011 following a lengthy illness at his residence in Montebello.
Mark previously worked for Goodyear as a truck driver for 14 years. He was a member of the United States Auto Club (USAC), worked for Carrol Shelby Motorsports and was a Crew Chief for numerous race cars.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 5-9:00pm in the Risher Montebello Chapel.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 2pm in the Risher Montebello Chapel with a reception following at the Risher Reception Center.
He is survived by his wife, Marcela Lloyd of Montebello, his son, Matheu Spivey of Montebello, his daughter, Tonna Quataker of Porterville, Ca., his mother, Mary Spivey of San Pedro, his father, Herb Spivey of Montebello, and his brother, Scott Spivey of Chandler, Az.
