Marlene Ann Ellis, 87, was born on January 18, 1936, in Windber, Pennsylvania to William Buckwalter and Nora Smith. She entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2023 in Arcadia, California.
Marlene loved her family time and she devoted much of her time to making her home a warm and welcoming place for family and friends. Marlene enjoyed going out to dinner, reading books, watching golf and game shows; some of her favorites were Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, Dancing with the Stars, and especially Jeopardy.
Marlene is survived by her loving family: Son- Robert Duchess, Daughter in law- Angie, Granddaughters- Tiffany Holbert and Kimberly Duchess, Grandsons- Robert Duchess III and Gregory Imperial,
Great grandkids- Isabelle Holbert, Gabby Holbert, Scarlett Duchess, Violet Duchess, Sienna Duchess, and Zoey Duchess and Sisters- Sally Karkowsky and Dorothy Mulcahy.
Marlene will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Marlene was met at Heaven's Gate by her husband, John Ellis. Condolences for the family may be sent through our website.
