Marta was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, sister and friend. She passed away peacefully at the age of 67. She was a woman of strong faith and devotion to God. She touched many lives and was loved by many. Marta loved unconditionally and lived her life with strong values, integrity and respect.
Marta grew up in a large family, and always shared warm memories and stories of her beautiful parents and her many siblings. As the second eldest she took on the responsibility of helping her busy parents with the day to day care of her younger siblings.
Marta was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. She fell in love and married Ruben Jimenez 47 years ago. She gave birth to four children, whom she has always been a guiding light for. Always patient and gentle to everyone in the family. She had a compassionate nature that taught us to love all people. What everyone most admired about her was her dedication and hard work for her children and grandchildren. As a proud grandmother she dedicated many years attending their games, school performances, supporting fundraisers, doctor visits, cooking, and many more acts of love for her grandchildren. No task was too big or too small for them.
She will always be remembered for being an angel. She touched all our lives. Her beauty always radiated inside and out for she understood what her true meaning of life meant for her. Her strength and resilience for life inspired us to keep pushing forward no matter the challenge. After her diagnosis, she fought every day with her physical effects and never wavered in her positivity and mental strength to beat her disease. She fought to the very end for herself and for those she loved. She gave hope to others that were struggling in their own life. Her faith, encouragement and strength inspired all of us who loved her, and beyond.
