Martha Hoyos Garcia, 75, was born on January 22, 1941 in Arizona and entered into eternal rest on June 7, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

If you know Martha as a sweet old lady then you didn't really know her because she was a lady with no filter and she'd say it like she saw it. But she did love her sweets. Well not her sweets, someone else's, because she would deny that she likes sweets and rarely had junk food in her house. If someone else had sweets, though, she never turned down a bite - or the entire package. Martha was the epitome of work hard play hard. She proudly worked most of her life at Rex Precision where she worked her way up from the bottom to successfully retire over 30 years later. She was famous for being a caring and generous Mom, Nana, great-Nana, neighbor, friend and someone to everyone in between. She loved her kids, grandchildren, great grandbabies, and most of all her dog, Fred. She passionately enjoyed her job with Maids to Order where she won Top Performer. Her thrill and dedication to clients kept her continuing to work with them as a personal beloved housekeeper even after she retired in December. She loved unconditionally without boundaries. She was a master at crossword puzzles, a slot winner, best tortilla maker around and chef of all things which became our favorite foods, especially her tamales! She lived to mingle and get down with her bingo. Martha will be remembered for her childlike heart which kept her young. Let's not forget the memory of the woman who was always the life of the party and some knew as the B word: Barracuda.

Martha is survived by her four children; Arlene (Brad) Canepa of Covina, Ronnie (Terri) Garcia of West Covina, Frank Garcia of Corcoran, Christine Roybal of San Pedro, and her nine grandchildren; Adrienne Saint of Forth Worth, TX, Andre Montano of Cerritos, Sumer Montano of Covina, Ashley Garcia of Ontario, Robert Garcia of San Gabriel, Frank Garcia of Ontario, Lydia Garcia of Victorville, Frank Garcia Jr, of Paramount, Desiree Garcia of Arizona and Zaraynna Garcia of Upland. She also leaves behind her ten great grandchildren; Aidan Montano of Cerritos, Kaelyn Montano of Cerritos, Izayan Brisker of Covina, Jaslyn Tinajero of Ontario, Emma Tinajero of Ontario, Aybriana Cruz of Covina, Stavean Montano of Texas, Sienna Dodemont of Arizona, Francisco Cabrela of Arizona and Jacob Ortega as well as "Fred" her favorite chihuahua. Martha was greeted at Heaven's gate by her husband who preceded her in death.
