Martha L. White, was born in, Texas on July 2, 1936 to Albert Cherry & Irene Payton and graduated to her heaven on June 26, 2024 in Covina.
Ms. Martha was lovingly known as Granny" and will forever be remembered as someone who would meet a stranger and walk away having a new friend, and she also opened the doors of her home and fed everyone who walked through them, and gave loving guidance to those who needed it, she was tough when it was needed. Granny was blessed with a loving heart and those who visited her not only left with a full tummy but a heart filled with Granny's love.
Granny loved visiting her Casino's and enjoyed her slot machines and was the #1 fan of the Lakers and her Dallas Cowboys.
Above all, Granny loved her family more than anything and was so proud of every single one of them.
Granny is survived by her loving family; Daughters, Shirley D. Mitchell, Annie Mitchell ( Larry), Ceceila Mitchell and sons, Larry Mitchell, Cleophes Michell Jr. She was blessed to be a grandmother, great grandmother and a great great grandmother, she was a 'Triple G" . Granny was met at heavens gate by her daughters Flora Mae Mitchell and Diana Michell and also her grandson A.C. Grable III, as well as many other family & friends who welcomed her to her heavenly home.
