Mary C. Magdaleno, 82, was born on April 7, 1942, in Mexico City, Mexico to Manuel Sanchez and Beatrice Ordonez, and entered eternal rest on July 8, 2024, in San Dimas, California.
Mary's life was filled with roles she cherished deeply. She found immense pride and joy as a mother, grandmother, and nina. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart; her time with them was priceless. One of Mary's ways of expressing love was through food. Whenever someone visited her home, they were treated to delicious meals prepared with care and generosity. Professionally, Mary dedicated herself to the art of cosmetology, specializing in the skillful art of coloring hair.
Mary loved going to Las Vegas to gamble. She eagerly anticipated each visit to the casino, always asking, "When are we going to the casino?" Mary's legacy lies in her immense capacity to love. Her heart was big and she touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity.
Mary is survived by her loving family, her husband, Jose Magdaleno, and her sons, Albert Magdaleno (Leslie) and Gabriel Magdaleno. She leaves behind an amazing legacy of 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings; Maria Eugenia, Dolores, Bertha, and Manuel, along with many godchildren, nieces, and nephews. Family and friends will miss her dearly.
Mary was greeted at Heaven's Gate by her grandson, Joseph, her parents, and her siblings.
