Mary Ann Mccabe

Mary Ann (Kelly) McCabe was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 7, 1938.
She grew up in Wichita through high school.
She attended Rosary College (now Dominican University) in River Forest, Illinois and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1960.
She married Richard McCabe in Wichita on September 3, 1960.
They moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana where Richard was a pilot in the United States Air Force.
Richard completed his commitment in the United States Air Force in 1963 and they moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts with their first two children, Ann and Michael. Richard completed a Master’s Degree in Cambridge in 1965 and they moved to Seal Beach, California. They had two more children, Matthew and John, in 1969 and 1972.
During their time in California, Mary Ann volunteered at the Los Alamitos Medical Center for 29 years.
Mary Ann passed away on the morning of July 2, 2019. Her husband and all of her children and her four grandchildren had been with her the previous afternoon.
Mary leaves behind her loving family: Husband, Richard McCabe of Seal Beach, California, Daughter, Ann Catherine Nelson (Ed) of Seal Beach, California, Son, Michael McCabe (Robin) of Pasadena, California, Son Matthew McCabe (Kymm) of Maryland, Son, John McCabe of Broomfield, Colorado, Grandson, Logan McCabe of Pasadena, California, Grandson, Connor McCabe of Charlotte, North Carolina, Grandson, Skyler McCabe of Edgewater, Maryland, Granddaughter, Jacqueline McCabe of Edgewater, Maryland as well as several other family members and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
