Mary Lily Trujillo Profile Photo
Mary Lilly Trujillo, known as Toni, was born on July 21st, 1937, in Los Angeles, California. Toni entered into eternal rest on December 24th, 2022.

Toni had many accomplishments, but her greatest achievement was the way she took care of her handicapped brother Alfonso Jr. (Kokie), her handicapped sister Angelina (Angie), and her mother Grandma Esther Garcia (Grandma Chepa) until the day they all passed away.

Toni is survived by her loving family: she was the mother of four Children - Terri, Bob, Chris, and Patty, Daughter-in-Law - Liz, God-Daughter - Lorraine Alderette, Grandchildren - Cody, Shelby, Daniel, Oceann (Michael), Skye, Brandon and Jaclyn, Great Grandchildren - Lily and Riley (whom she called Ri Ri). Toni also accepted Russel and Maria Maese plus their children, and Samantha and Asher Gonzalez as her very own grandchildren. Toni will be missed by her friends, family, and all who knew and loved her.

Toni was reunited at the gates of Heaven with her husband of more than 40 years, Arnie Trujillo.

One of the Scriptures that comes to mind when thinking about mom is one I read to grandma Esther before she died. It was Acts 2:39 says, “this promise [of forgiveness of sins through Jesus] is for you and your children and for all who are far off— for all whom the Lord [Jesus] will call.” I vividly recall reading it to Grandma and her immediately applying it to Maria (mom, that is what Grandma called her), Kokie, Angie, and her grandchildren. -Bob

Mom’s legacy, her family, and her friends are a living testimony of that promise of Scripture.
Rest in Peace Mom.
