Meredith Lynne Alstad

Meredith Lynne Alstad, 49, was born in Fontana, CA on January 10, 1970 to Eugene and Sylvia Whitlock and passed away in Anaheim, CA on September 20, 2019. Meredith was employed as an Agent for Delta Air Lines for 25 years.
Meredith Lynne was born a beautiful baby girl who grew into a beautiful woman inside and out. She married Bruce, the love of her life, 14 years ago after a romantic proposal in Honolulu. Though she suffered all her life from the ravages of her illness, she did not let it define her but carried on in giving ways to help others. She loved working for Delta Air Lines, singing in church choirs, starting in the children's choir and starring in Cats and a Claremont production of Peace Child. She traveled the world, on airplanes and cruise ships. Her many hospital stays did not inhibit her. One of our traveling companions was her first oncologist. A committed Christian, she loved everyone as much as they loved her. She has also entertained in many Rotary Clubs and her last trip was to Rotary International Headquarters where she was able to visit the Chicago 1 Rotary Club.
Meredith leaves behind her loving husband Bruce, her mother, Sylvia Whitlock, her younger brother BG (Romina) and their beautiful children, Dante Luigi, Seychelle Meredith and Ellis Whitlock, her sister Pam (Karl) and many loving friends and relatives. Her older brother preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Standford School of Medicine .
