Michael Fontes Jr. lovingly known as Mickey, 80, was born September 17, 1943, in Los Angeles, California to Adeline Perez Fontes & Mike Fontes and entered eternal rest on June 27, 2024, in Los Angeles, California.
Mickey enjoyed watching movies, his favorites were Westerns & Rio Bravo was one he truly enjoyed and sang along with the song My Rifle, My Pony and Me, he also enjoyed James Bond and Elvis Presley Movies. Mickey enjoyed playing card games and board games with family and friends and was a fan of the Lotto. If there was a gathering with family Mickey would walk in with his big smile and make his way around the room to say hi to everyone and soon make his way to the buffet table, as Mickey was a lover of food.
Above all, Mickey loved his family; his brother he lovingly called Natchito and his brother Gilbert, his mom Lina, who he had a special relationship with. Mickey was proud to be a uncle & great uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Where ever Natchito and Mickey traveled they made a new friend, as the bond between them was so strong and everyone can see it.
Mickey is survived by his loving brother and best friend, Ignacio ( Natchito) Moriel, Mickey was met at heavens gate by his loving mother Adeline ( Lina) Fontes, his father Mike Fontes, his brother Gilbert Fontes and Henry Martinez, as well as other family members who were there to welcome him to his heavenly home.
Mickey will always be remembered as one of the kindest people you would meet, he left footprints in the hearts of many people and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
