Michael Gonzalez Lizarraga, 91, was born in Mexico and entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2013 in Whittier, California. He was previously employed as an Upholsterer in the Furniture Upholstering Industry for 30 years. Mr. Lizarraga served our country in the United States Army during WWII and was given an Honorable Discharge.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 9:00 am at St. Benedict Church in Montebello with interment following the same day at 2:45 pm at Riverside National Cemetery. Mr. Lizarraga will be given full military honors that he deserves.

He is survived by his loving wife, Consuelo "Connie" Lizarraga of Montebello, his daughter Lorraine Lizarraga of Whittier and his son, Michael (Mona) Lizarraga of Pico Rivera. He also leaves 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter and his sister, Mercy Lizarraga of Los Angles.
