Mitch graduated from Lowell High School in 1970.
Mitch lived at the beach most of his adult life. He loved the ocean and sailed when he could. He enjoyed snorkeling and scuba diving. When he traveled, he would include these things in his plans. He played a good game of golf and loved to cook.
Mitch was a talented artist and as a young man, attended the USC Campus in Idyllwild where ceramics became his passion. He created many beautiful ceramic tiles and murals.
He is survived by his father Niles R. Palmer, his sister Cheryl Palmer, his niece Arwen Cho and his cousins Ruth (Barrie) Cruickshand and Robert (Jan) Stichal.
He will be missed by his family and many friends.
