Nadja is survived by her loving husband, John Valov of Tulare, California, Daughter, Sharon Chernekoff of Downey, California, son, Dennis Chernekoff of Laguna Niguel, California, brother, William Georgeoff of Whittier, California, sister, Elvera Shubin of Downey, California and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California at 2:00pm, with the Dressing Prayer beginning at 3:00pm.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 5, 2008, at the Russian Molokan Cemetery Chapel in Commerce, California.
