Norma Biscocho Pasigan Profile Photo
On the morning of March 30, 2016, Norma Biscocho Pasigan passed away at Citrus Valley Hospice after her long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was 82 years old. Norma was preceeded in death by her loving husband, Pete Pasigan. She was surrounded by her loving family during her last few days and was comforted by Cynthia, her daughter, at the time of her passing.
She is survived by 2 daughters, 3 sons, 8 grandchildren, 5 siblings, and several nieces/nephews.
Norma was a pharmacist and a teacher back in her native land, the Philippines. She migrated to the US with her husband on May 5, 1974. She worked at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a pharmacy technician until she retired in 1999.
After her retirement, she and her husband moved back to the Philippines. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a few years after her retirement. Even after her diagnosis, she continued to do the activities that she enjoyed most- playing the piano, solving crossword puzzles, and making rosaries! As the years passed by, Alzheimer's got the best of her. Slowly and gradually, her most vital life functions, especially her memory, went into a decline. Her daughter , Cynthia, brought her back here to the States in January 2012, where she could be cared for and be closer to her family.
Cynthia would like to thank all those who cared for her at Nazonn Residential Home Care, Foothill Presbyterian Hospital, and Citrus Valley Hospice. She would also like to extend her utmost and heartfelt gratitude to all family members who provided their love, care, and support to her mother.

Risher Mortuary in Montebello, CA, has been entrusted with the final arrangements. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Parish in Montebello on April 6, 2016. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. See below for service times and driving directions.
