Norma Rodriguez, 81, was born on January 7, 1940 in Havana, Cuba to Jesus Rodriguez and Cruz Maria Abreu, and entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2021 in Lakewood, California.
Norma was a wonderful mother and grandmother. A woman dedicated to her family. She immigrated from Cuba to the US in 1970 in search of a better life for herself and her children. She worked many years as a seamstress in the garment industry. She was also an entrepreneur who owned several businesses over her lifetime. Norma loved cooking and was well known for her excellent cooking skills. She loved crafts, such as scrapbooking, floral design and sewing. Norma was very creative. Norma was a philanthropist and faithful supporter of Paralyzed Veterans of America and St. Jude’s Hospital. She was a strong Christian woman, who dedicated herself to serving the Lord, whether it be by ministering to others, praying for the sick, or serving in the church. Norma will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Norma was reunited with her mother, Cruz Maria Martinez, and stepfather, Victor Martinez, as they greeted Norma at the gates of Heaven. Norma's mother and stepfather preceded her in death.
