Ofelia Calderon Ramos, 75, was born in Mexico on February 7, 1939 and passed away in Pasadena, Ca. on Aprl 21, 2014. She was born to Erasmo Calderon and Rosa Mendoza, both of Mexico.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 5:00-9:00pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel and Reception Center. A Vigil will be at 7:00pm the same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 9:00am at St. Benedict Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Ofelia is survived by her loving husband, Jose Guadalupe Ramos of Montebello, her daughters, Ruth R. (Javier) Moreno of Azusa and Ofelia V. Ramos of Montebello and her grandchildren, Mercedes (Giovanni Garcia) Moreno and Christopher Chavez, all of Montebello. She also leaves her siblings; Angela Bermudez of Arleta, Magdaleno Mendoza of Long Beach and 10 nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother, Leandro Calderon.
