PAUL VITO NICASSIO

Paul Vito Nicassio, 67, Monterey Park, CA, passed away on March 5th, 2025.
Paul was the child of Italian immigrants, from whom he inherited a strong work ethic and a sense of right and wrong. For years he lived these principles while serving in the Torrance police department where he was a beacon of bravery and heroism. His actions made the community safer, and he personally saved multiple lives.
Everyone in Paul’s community knew and liked him thanks to his dry humor and his uncanny ability to strike up a conversation with anybody. He’ll be remembered, not only for his silliness, but for his legendary sweet tooth. He’s certainly already in line at Heaven’s Ice Cream Sundae bar.
Paul was with his loving wife, Erma, for nearly 40 years of marriage and 45 years of inseparable friendship and partnership. In addition to her, he’s survived by his daughter, Elizabeth, his son-in-law, Timothy, and his granddaughter, Romi.
