Peter Jacob Matchniff, Elder Minister of Milikoy Church in Whittier, was born in Los Angeles, California April,5 1913 and passed away at his residence in Hacienda Heights on December,21 2008.
Peter is survived by his son Jack of Hacienda Heights,daughters Frances P.Popoff of Mexico,and Marilyn Jean Babishoff of La Habra Heights,16 Grandchildern,43 Great Grandchildern,9 Great Great Grandchildern, and brother Tim of Arlington Texas,sisters Kate Siliznoff of Kerman,Dora Slevcove of Montebello.
Visitation will be Tuesday December,23 2008 starting at 2:00 P.M.and Dressing Prayer at 3:00 P.M.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday from Milikoy Church in Whittier at the Russian Molokan Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. in City of Commerce,California.
