Philip Ruiz, 86, was born on August 23, 1923 in Flagstaff, Arizona, and passed away on September 15, 2009, in Montebello, California.
Philip is survived by his loving daughters, Lorraine Reyes of West Covina, Anita Ruiz of Whittier, Patricia Aguilar of Downey, sister, Carmen Jimenez of El Monte, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Friday, September 18, 2009, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello, California, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
