Rafael Dequina Lubaton
November 7, 1938 — November 4, 2024
Rafael Dequina Lubaton was born in Cotabato City, Philippines on November 7, 1938 in and went home to be the Lord on November 4, 2024 in Coupeville, WA. He was born to Segundo Derutas Lubaton and Maria Diaz Dequina.
Pastor Rafael accepted the Lord as personal Savior in 1952 and a few years later, came to the United States for graduate studies at Los Angeles Baptist Theological Seminary. He served our Lord in many different ministries for over 60 years, including being a senior pastor, professor, church-planter, missionary, and jail ministry.
His life of service over the years with Baptist Bible Seminary Institute, CARBC, Congregational Christian Church, Filipino Fellowship Baptist Church, Grace Community Baptist Church, International Gospel Mission, Holy Ground Family Fellowship, and LifePointe Church, are a testimony to his unwavering commitment to the Lord’s life calling of ministry.
His wife Charing went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2013.
His wife Rosalinda went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2023.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
