Rafael Marquez, 84, was born on August 10, 1929 in Mexico, and entered into eternal rest on March 19, 2014, in Whittier, California. Rafael performed many duties at the rim manufacturing business where he worked to support his wife and family.
A Visitation service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 5:00-9:00 pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel, with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 9:00 am at St. Hilary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Maria, daughter, Josefina Morales, daughter, Maria Guadalupe Marquez, son, Jesus Marquez, daughter, Rosa Padilla, son, Martin Marquez, son, Rafael Marquez, Jr., daughter, Martha Marquez, son, Juan Antonio Marquez, son, Miguel Angel Marquez, son, Francisco Javier Marquez, daughter, Norma Angelica Avila, daughter, Erica Alejandra Robles, 36 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was loved by his family and will be missed by everyone whose life he touched.
