Ralph 'Rocky' Herrera Ortiz, 92, was born on October 29, 1916 and a lifetime resident of Los Angeles, California, and passed away on November 16, 2008 at his home Los Angeles, California.
Rocky is survived by his loving wife, Berta Ortiz of East Los Angeles, California, daughters Linda Chavez of Whittier, California, Patricia Donato(Al) of Pico Rivera, California, son, Steven Ortiz(Liz) of Hacienda Heights, California, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Rocky was a life time Golfer and a member of the Montebello Men's Golf Club.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello, California, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
