Ramiro Rodriguez-Duarte, 88, was born in Mexico on April 9, 1923 and passed away in East Los Angeles on January 3, 2012.
Ramiro was a self-employed plumber for 30 years. Most important in his life was his love for his family. He was a devout Catholic who attended St. Benedict Church every Sunday. He was a conservative, hard working man. Ramiro loved his music, he loved gardening and his flowers, and loved cooking, especially making his own tortillas.
A Visitation service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00am in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel, with a Prayer service following at 11:30am.
Ramiro is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Rodriguez-Duarte of East Los Angeles, his son, Enrique Rodriguez of Altadena, his daughters, Susana Rodriguez Stillo of Palmdale and Raquel Argomaniz of Eastvale, and his son, Jose Luis Rodriguez of Fullerton. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
