Randall Eugene Brandon, 85, was born in Vincennes, Indiana on May 26, 1938, and entered into eternal rest in Whittier, California on March 5, 2024
Randy was the youngest of 11 and spent his childhood in Indiana moving to California when he was 14. He graduated from South Gate High School in 1956.
Randy served in the Army Reserves in the 1960s for about 6 years. He began his Firefighter career in Downey in 1965 and retired from LA County Fire after 35 years.
Randy was a caring and devoted Husband, Father, PaPa, Gigi Pa, and friend. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Kathleen Brandon of Downey, CA. Son, Rodney (Cynthia) Brandon of Bainbridge Island, WA. Daughter, Melinda (Kevin) Odom of Brea, CA. Grandchildren, Vanessa (Garrett) Covey, Jessica Wiles, Ryan Brandon, Ella Brandon Great Grandchildren William Covey, Charlotte Covey.
Service will be May 4th at 10:30 Arbor Road Church, Long Beach CA
